Albin was TDR's first ram. When he was loaded in the trailer I thought I had just bought a wild sheep. He was trying to jump out. I gave him a day in the trailer to relax before I attempted to try and catch him to put him in the paddock. I decided to try putting a halter on him. He was fairly calm when I let him sniff the halter. I didn't even have to try to put the halter on, he just let me do it. It was like he had already been halter trained! He turned out to be the gentlest ram I've ever had. I used to sit in the pasture with him laying next to me with his head in my lap.
